What We Like

First, we love the size of the Dreo Air Fryer Pro Max. The 6.8 quarts size basket is the perfect size for a mid-sized family for practically any dish, including casseroles, fries, baked potatoes, personal pizzas, salad toppings, dried fruit, and so much more. Since first opening this digital air fryer, we’ve cooked all sorts of meals. And unlike some other air fryers, we didn’t have to do a second round on any of the items. Instead, the super easy pre-sets and temperature and time controls allow precision cooking.
We also love the easy-to-read LED touchscreen. At first, it was a little surprising that it is positioned on top of the appliance, but this actually makes it so much easier and more intuitive to use. You bump it less frequently which is especially important since it’s rather sensitive.
The basket is nonstick and has a slightly textured insert for air circulation and insulation while cooking. You can even use this as a second layer for cooking lightweight things, as well, allowing you to cook even more food at a single time. We recommend doing this only for lightweight foods like kale chips or a small batch of fries because the grate will slip down onto the food below.
The basket and grate insert are easy to clean. They’re dishwasher-safe and come out perfectly clean every time. If you’re in a rush to transition to another part of the meal, they’re almost instantaneously clean washing by hand. That’s a huge plus, especially if you’re cooking multiple dishes or for a larger group.

There are two features to this air fryer that help keep an eye on the food status. First, the transparent window lets you take a look at the food without having to remove the basket. Secondly, the built-in reminder beeps for shaking the basket help to make sure the cooking process is going as it should.
One of the most notable features is how evenly this air fryer cooks the contents. Baked goods, potatoes, fries, pizza, chicken breast – it all comes out evenly cooked, crisp on the outside and tender on the inside.
We love the quick start cooking mode, preheat setting, and customizable options for cooking. You can easily preheat or get things started instantly with the press of a single button. And, you’d be surprised just how quiet this air fryer runs.
What We Don’t Like

While this air fryer almost checks all the boxes, there are two things that set us back. The LED touchscreen is a tad sensitive. It is all too easy to bump it and change the cooking settings without meaning to.
Secondly, the basket isn’t one size fits all. So your baking pans may not fit making it harder to use the baking function.

Conclusion
Ultimately, if you need an air fryer for a family of three to six people, this is a great option. It works well, it can handle a lot of use, and it cooks things evenly and quickly. Cooking for the holidays is much easier, and your everyday meals are cooked to perfection.
The Dreo Air Fryer Pro Max is a reasonably priced, high-quality appliance that delivers on its promises. It is durable, has amazing cooking results, and practically anyone can use it, even that bachelor brother who comes over for the holidays and wants to help pitch in with cooking.
