Deep fryers with oil filtration systems

I am in the market for a new deep fryer. The one that I have had for about eight years has finally seen it's day. I went to our local department store and found one that I am interested in but it is rather expensive. This fryer is the T-Fal Ultimate EZ Clean Deep Fryer. It has an automatic oil filtration system built into it. Do these filtration systems actually work and are they worth spending the extra money on or should I just stick to a tradition fryer?

I'm not sure what the cost is, from what I can tell you are going to pay a premium for this device. I found a video to help you out with your decision. Looks like the big deal with this item is that it is easy filtration. So let's take a look, shall we?
