Have any of you ever made Hermit Bar Cookies? I ended up with lots of figs this year and combined this recipe with the figs. It calls for raisins but I used fresh chopped figs instead and it turned out delicious.
Thank you so much for sharing this! I also ended up with lots of figs this year. I have made more jelly than my family can possibly eat. I think that this will be a good way for me to use up my figs that I put away in the freezer!
Glad I could help cajungriller. The only thing you may want to remember is that it may take a little more flour than the recipe calls for in order to make the rolls. If you want a batter, just use the recipe amount. I made it that way too and it was delicious.
