New Grill Question

Andy K

First time on here.

I'm about to purchase a new grill and time time I'm thinking of going with Charcoal/Gas combo.
Based on my past grills gas/charcoal/SS/black I am always recalling eventually having corrosion so this time before assembly I'm thinking of putting a layer of grill paint on it just to cover any nooks and crannies.

Has anyone had an experience with this? Any comments or concerns?

Thank you,

flat black high heat spray paint is readily available and not expensive I like rustoleum brand. Also by putting a p;iece fo sheet metal inside the grill you can prolong the life of the indide of the fire box. Just be care ful not to spray the vents and moving parts too heavily.

i think for me, going with aluminum or stainless grill would save us from iron damage
