I made some salmon cakes on the stove top yesterday, and thought they might make a good addition to the next barbecue, but I'd have no idea how to go about cooking them on a grill. I don't think my grill pan I use for veggies would be large enough, and the holes would be too big , because sometimes the cakes/patties have a tendency to lose small pieces as they cook.
I'll look for a better recipe before I attempt it, because the one I used yesterday left them very crumbly, but I'm thinking these grill mats would probably be the best option. Has anyone use them before? I don't know if you have to spray or brush them with oil before using, or whether that's not necessary.
